Jet JPT-410HH Planer Thicknesser with Spiral Cutterhead

Jet JPT-410HH Planer Thicknesser is equipped with Spiral cutterhead, heavy-duty cast iron tables and with a superior 407mm planing width for the professionals needs. Up to 50% quieter Spiral Cutterhead saves money, time and effort as well gives top-quality cutting results even for the most difficult types of wood.

Spiral cutterhead carbide blades lasts up to 40 times longer than standard HSS blades, which guarantees low operating costs and reduces the need for maintenance. Carbide blades have four cutting sides per blade, so if one of the blades gets a scab when planing on nail for example, you can simply turn the blade around with the included torx key and continue working. Carbide blades never need to be adjusted or re-sharpened.

Switching from jointing to thicknessing is simple and easy step that can be done in 10 seconds. Just tilt the jointing tables to the side and turn the dust hood over the cutter. Conversion from thicknessing to jointing is done in the reverse order just as easily and quickly without disassembling any parts. Jointing tables are always placed in the right position and no adjustments need to be made.
