Description
The Jet JTS-1600 is a compact professional panel saw with a scoring blade, ideal for small woodworking shops and schools. The circular blade makes a groove of two to three millimetres in the underside of the board to be sawn, so the main blade does not cut all the way through - instead, it faces the sawn groove, giving a smooth sawing edge and preventing the cutting edge from cracking. The cutting edge can be lowered if it is not needed.
On the right side of the circular saw blade there are two removable attachments, one in cast iron and one in steel. In addition, the machine has a steel rear table, which is also removable. The saw blade, the circular saw blade, the emergency stop button and all the above-mentioned auxiliary tables are standard equipment. The JTSS-1600 can be equipped with the SuvaPro steel guard at an extra cost, which is a mandatory accessory for school use, for example.
