Weighing up to 55 kilos, the JWL-1221VS woodturning lathe has a strong cast iron frame, support brackets, backrest and turning head, as with other Jet woodturning lathes, but with a wider frame than any other woodturning lathe.

With variable speed control and wide speed range of 60 - 3600rpm, you can get the optimum rotational speed for any turning job simply by turning a knob. The 3-speed belt drive makes it easy to change gears in 20 seconds if you need more torque for turning larger bowls, for example.
